Huawei has finally launched the new Huawei Matebook 13 which was teased in the Huawei Mate 20 event last month. Huawei has not announced the pricing and availability for the new Huawei Matebook 13 so we are still not sure when will the device go on sale. Anyway, the new Huawei Matebook 13 will be available in three colors with the silver moon, cherry powder, and deep space gray.
The new Huawei Matebook 13 is entry level notebook from the company which sports 13.0 inches IPS display with a resolution of 2160×1440p having an aspect ratio of 3:2 and 88% screen to the body ratio. The new Huawei Matebook 13 is built out of Aluminium and looks similar to Apple MacBook Air. Huawei Matebook 13 weighs 1.28 Kg and is 14.9 mm thick.
The new Huawei Matebook 13 is powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core i7 8565U/ Core i5 8265U processor coupled with NVIDIA GeForce MX150/Intel UHD 620 GPU. It comes with 8GB LPDDR3 RAM along with 256GB hard disk. It does support Dolby panoramic sound and comes with a fingerprint scanner which also doubles up as power button. The new Huawei Matebook 13 also comes with a heat dissipation system so that the laptop stays cool in memory intensive tasks.
The connectivity option includes USB-C Port, 3.5 mm audio jack, USB-C interface, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. The Huawei Matebook 13 also comes with new Huawei Share 3.0 feature which uses NFC to connect with Huawei smartphone for transferring the files between phone and PC seamlessly.
The new Huawei Matebook 13 runs on Windows 10 OS and packs 42Wh battery which can last for 10 hours on video playback. There is a 1MP camera for video calling and comes with Dual Speakers.
