Honor has finally unveiled the much-awaited Honor Magic 2 in China. The new Honor Magic 2 comes with Oppo Find X like sliding cameras which has now become a trend with major Chinese OEM. The new Honor Magic 2 comes in multiple colors with Gradient Black, Gradient Red, and Gradient Blue colors. The Honor Magic 2 is priced at 3799 Yuan (Rs.40,295/-) for 6GB+128GB and 4799 Yuan (Rs.50,900/-) for the 8GB+256GB variant.
Honor also unveiled the special edition with Honor Magic 2 3D Photosensitive Edition which comes with 3D Biosensing Technology with graphene heat dissipation and comes with 8GB+512GB storage which is priced at 5799 Yuan (Rs.61,500/-). The new Honor Magic 2 goes on sale from November 6 in China whereas the 3D Photosensitive Edition from December 2018.
With Oppo and Vivo starting the sliding camera trend we now have another Chinese brand Honor launching the sliding camera smartphone with all display design with Honor Magic 2. The new Honor Magic 2 is made out of glass and metal with Gradient glow on all the colors. It weighs around 206 grams and is 8.3 mm thick.
The new Honor Magic 2 sports 6.39 inches FHD+ AMOLED 19.5:9 display with an anti-dust slider design. The new Honor Magic 2 is powered by latest Kirin 980 SoC with Dual NPU coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage variants. It also comes with a dedicated YOYO Assistant.
The Honor Magic 2 features triple rear cameras with a 16MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, a secondary monochrome sensor with 24MP with an aperture of f/1.8 and 16MP super wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 along with Dual LED flash, AIS, and AI intelligent stabilization. On the front, we have a slider which carries the 16MP Selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 along with Dual cameras with 2MP+2MP having an aperture of f/2.4 for 3D facial recognition and 3DQmoji.
The connectivity option includes the Dual SIM with 4G and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi with Huawei’s Hi1103 chip for 1.7Gbps Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS (L1+L5 Band), GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port and in-display fingerprint scanner. It also water and dust proof with IPX2 Water protection. All this is fueled by lower 3500 mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge tech. It runs on Android 9.0 with EMUI 9.0 on top.
