This year Apple announced not two but three models of iPhone with iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone XR which had almost similar design as the predecessor but with upgraded internals. Still, the new iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone XR arrived with new Face ID which is still slower than the Touch ID.
Now as per popular analyst Kuo claims that the 2019 iPhones will ship with all new Face ID system. The 2019 iPhones will come with Flood illuminator which helps to lower the impact of invisible light from the surroundings. According to Kuo, the new hardware will be available to all the models of 2019 iPhones.
Further, Apple will stick to three iPhones in 2019 with two OLED display and one with LCD display similar to this year and will arrive with almost similar screen sizes. Kuo also mentions that 2019 or 2020 iPads will feature the ToF camera for AR application but will not be available on 2019 iPhones as it is waiting for the right time to launch the AR need a lot of development.
Further, Kuo claims that the new 2019 iPhones to ship with updated Apple A13 SoC which will be built on the same 7nm TSMC process. There are also rumors about Apple considering to ditch the notch or reduce the notch size for 2019 iPhones and might feature triple rear cameras with 3x optical zoom.
