Xiaomi is all set o unveil the successor to original gaming smartphone with Xiaomi Black Shark 2 next week in China. Earlier we had got few renders along with hands-on video leaked which showed the new Xiaomi Black Shark 2. Today, finally we have spotted the new Xiaomi Black Shark 2 on Geekbench.
As per the listing, the new Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is listed as BlackShark AWM-A0. The device is powered by SD845 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM. It is running on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. With Xiaomi already pushing the Android Pie update to few of its flagship but the new Xiaomi Black Shark 2 still running an outdated version of Android.
The new Xiaomi Black Shark 2 managed to get a score of 2403 under single core test and 8389 under multi-core test which is impressive. The new Xiaomi Black Shark 2 will go official on Oct 23 in China.
We also got a few live images showing the new Xiaomi Black Shark 2. The new images, confirms the previously leaked images of the new Xiaomi Black Shark 2. As per the source, the new Xiaomi Black Shark 2 will sport 18:9 aspect ratio display with thinner bezels. There is a front firing stereo speaker which is now located closer to the frame.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is no longer shipping with a physical home button which we saw on predecessor and fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the device. On the back, we have some major changes with RGB LED glowing on the logo along with metal and glass back design. It now features Dual rear cameras aligned vertically along with LED Flash below it.
