Samsung is all set to launch the four camera smartphone aka Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) today. Earlier we had got few renders along with specs of the alleged Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) leaked. Today we have spotted the new Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) on Geekbench.
As per the listing, the new Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) runs on Android 8.1 out of the box. It is listed as Samsung SM-A9200 which is powered by SD660 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. Seems like Samsung just killed the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) with this new smartphone.
Anyway, the new Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) scored 1609 under single core and 5844 under multi-core test. Apart from that, we also got the renders showing the new Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) four rear cameras with details.
As per the renders shared by Evan Blass, the new Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) will feature four rear cameras which are aligned vertically similar to Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018). The primary camera is of the 24MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.7, the secondary sensor of 10MP which is a telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.4 having 2x optical zoom, the third sensor is an 8MP 120 degrees ultra wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and final lens is of 5MP sensor which acts as depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 along with Live focus.
Apart from that, Samsung has accidentally listed the new Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) on their website today which confirmed the name for the Quad cam setup. As per the source, they have taken the screenshots of the same as Samsung has removed it from their official website. As per the listing, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) looks similar to previous leaks and will be available in multiple colors with Pink, Blue, and Black.
