Oppo is all set to launch another device with waterdrop display later this year. Earlier we had spotted an unknown device on TENAA which was expected to be the cheaper version of Oppo R17. Now we have the same device listed as Oppo R15x by e-retailer in China.
As per the listing, the new Oppo R15x will arrive with the same specs as the earlier TENAA listing along with same model Oppo PBCM10. The new Oppo R15x will sport 6.4 inches waterdrop FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280. It is powered by the SD660 SoC coupled with 4GB/128GB and 64GB/128GB storage variants. It weighs 156 grams and is 7.4 mm thick.
The new Oppo R15x features Dual rear cameras with 16MP+2MP along with 25MP selfie camera. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio port, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and micro USB port. The Oppo R15x is fueled by 3500 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 with Color OS 5.2 on top. The Oppo R15 with 4GB RAM is priced at 2499 Yuan and 6GB at 2599 Yuan.
