After series of renders leaks and rumors of the new Nokia 7.1, Nokia has officially launched the device. The new Nokia 7.1 comes in two colors with Gloss Midnight Blue & Gloss Steel. The new Nokia 7.1 with 3GB+32GB is priced at $349/€319 (Rs.27,000/-) whereas the 4GB+64GB at €349 (Rs.29,700/-). The new Nokia 7.1 will be up on pre-orders from today and will go on sale from Oct 28 in the US and Europe.
The new Nokia 7.1 is made out of 6000 series Aluminium frame with diamond-cut colored chamfers and glass back which gives a premium feel. The Nokia 7.1 weighs 160 grams and is 7.99 mm thick. The new Nokia 7.1 sports 5.84 inches FHD+ PureDisplay having an aspect ratio of 19:9 with HDR 10 support and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The Nokia 7.1 is powered by the SD636 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage with an option to expand the storage up to 400GB. The new Nokia 7.1 features 12MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, the pixel size of 1.28um, Dual PD, AF, and Dual LED flash, the secondary monochrome sensor of 5MP with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.12um pixel size and Fixed focus.
The Nokia 7.1 features 8MP selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and also doubles up as AI based Face Unlock. The new Nokia 7.1 also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm audio jack.
All this is fueled by 3060 mAh battery with fast charging support and runs on Android 8.1 which will be upgraded to Android 9 Pie in coming weeks.
