Google annual event is here with Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL we now have the new Google Pixel Slate a Chrome OS 2 in 1 launched. Earlier we had got few renders of the device leaked. Google Pixel Slate is priced at $599 (Rs.44,500/-) and goes up to $1599 (Rs.1,18,500/-) whereas the accessory Keyboard at $200 and Pen at $100 extra. The Google Pixel Slate will be available in few countries like the US, Canada, and the UK in the coming weeks.
The new Google Pixel Slate is second 2 in 1 based hybrid device running on Chrome OS after Acer Tab. The new Google Pixel Slate is built out of Aluminium and comes in Midnight Blue. The Google Pixel Slate weighs 721 grams.
The Google Pixel Slate sports 12.3 inches Molecular LCD display with a resolution of 3000x2000p and having an aspect ratio of 3:2. It does come with support for Pixelbook Pen. It features Dual front-firing speakers with Dual mics for improved noise cancellation.
The new Google Pixel Slate comes in various configuration with 8th Gen Intel Core m3, i5 or i7 processor or the Intel Celeron Processor. It is coupled with 4GB/8GB RAM and 32GB/64GB SSD on Intel Celeron, 8GB with 64GB/128GB SSD on 8th Gen Core i5 or Intel Core m3 and 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD with Intel Core i7 processor.
The Google Pixel Slate features 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/1.9, 1.4μm pixel size and wider FOV. It also features an 8MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8, 1.12μm pixel size and AF. Both the rear and selfie camera can shoot videos up to 1080p.
The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi with 2×2 (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, 2x USB Type-C port for charging and 4K display output, accessory connector port along with fingerprint scanner. It is fueled by 48 Wh battery with USB Type-C based 45W fast charger which can last for 10 hours on a single charge. Google Pixel Slate runs on Chrome OS out of the box.
