Huawei also launched two more devices with Ultra Premium Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS & first gaming smartphone with Huawei Mate 20X at the event. The new Huawei Mate 20X will arrive in similar colors as the Huawei Mate 20 & Mate 20 Pro whereas the Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS will ship in Black & Red colors with premium leather back.
The new Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS is priced at €1,695 (Rs.1,44,000/-) for 8GB+256GB and whopping €2,095 (Rs.1,78,000/-) for 8GB+512GB. The Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS is already on sale whereas the Huawei Mate 20X will go on sale from Oct 26.
Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS:
Huawei finally unveiled the top-end variant under Mate 20 Series with Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS. The new Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS looks completely different when compared with other Huawei devices with Leather back along with Glass strip on the middle carrying the triple cameras along with Dual Tone Dual LED flash.
The Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS sports 6.39 inches QHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has the same specs at the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The new Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS is powered by latest Kirin 980 SoC built on 7nm process coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options.
The Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS features triple rear cameras with the main sensor of whopping 40MP Quad Bayer sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 with 27mm wide angle lens, a secondary ultra-wide lens 20MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2, 16mm wide angle lens and the third telephoto lens with 8MP having an aperture of f/2.2 with 80mm wide angle lens along with OIS and 3x Optical Zoom. There is 24MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 which also doubles up as 3D face recognition tech.
The new Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS does come with AI features for the rear camera like scene detection identifying various monuments etc. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4.5G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, NFC, MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and in-display fingerprint scanner. It does feature a Stereo speaker along with IP68 certification which makes the device dust and waterproof.
The Huawei Porsche Design Mate 20 RS will ship with 4200 mAh battery with 44W Super fast charging support and 15W fast wireless charging support. The device is also TUV Rheinland certified. The device also comes with reverse wireless charging which can even charge other devices wirelessly. It runs on Android 9 Pie with latest EMUI 9.0 on top. With new EMUI 9.0, it ships with GPU Turbo 2.0 which further enhances the gaming experience even more smoother.
Huawei Mate 20 X:
Huawei also launched the first gaming smartphone under Mate series with Huawei Mate 20 X. The new Huawei Mate 20 X looks similar to Mate 20 but with a larger display. The new Huawei Mate 20 X comes with new M-Pen Stylus support similar to Samsung Galaxy Note series. Do note that the M-Pen will cost extra and will not come along with the device. The new Huawei Mate 20 X comes with some Pro and non-Pro features.
The new Huawei Mate 20 X sports 7.2 inches FHD+ (1,080 x 2,244p) flat OLED panel with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. It features similar Teardrop display as the Huawei Mate 20. The new Huawei Mate 20 X again is powered by same Huawei Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with an option to expand storage via nanoSD card up to 256GB.
It comes with new HUAWEI Supercool, the world’s first liquid multi-dimensional cooling system with Vapour Chamber (VC) and Graphene Film used in smartphones. It conducts heat away fast, keeping your device cool for smooth gaming and epic entertainment.

With new EMUI 9.0, it ships with GPU Turbo 2.0 which further enhances the gaming experience even more smoother.
