Honor finally launches the new Honor 8X which was launched in China last month. The new Honor 8X is the successor to last year launched Honor 7X. The new Honor 8X comes in Black and Blue colors. The new Honor 8X will ship in three variants with 4GB+64GB at Rs.14,999/-, 6GB+64GB at Rs.16,999/- and 6GB+128GB at Rs.18,999/- in India. The Honor 8X will go on sale from Oct 24 via Amazon.
The launch offer includes Extra 1TB of 4G data will earn extra 20GB/month for Airtel subscribers by doing a minimum recharge of Rs.199/- and above for first 18 months.
The new Honor 8X is the direct successor to last year launched Honor 7X which arrived with 18:9 aspect ratio display. The Honor 8X now comes with metal and glass design with a glossy finish similar to Honor 10. The new Honor 8X weighs around 175 grams and measures 160.4×76.6×7.8mm.
The Honor 8X sports 6.5 inches FHD+ (2340 × 1080p) display having an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with 2.5D curved glass on top. It features the Oppo F9 like waterdrop display with a tiny notch. It is powered by Huawei Kirin 710 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. The storage can be expanded via microSD card up to 400GB.
The Honor 8X comes with Honor Play like 4D gaming experience with real-time scene detection up to 30 scenes that vibrate similar to one on Sony’s PlayStation Joystick which offers realistic gaming experience.
The Honor 8X features a Dual rear camera with a 20MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 and 2MP secondary camera, LED flash and comes with 480p slo-mo video recording along with the AI scene recognition system. It features a 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. It comes with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner along with AI-based Facial recognition.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio jack, and micro USB port. All this is fueled by 3750 mAh battery and no support for fast charging. It runs on Android 8.1 with EMUI 8.2 on top.
