Xiaomi is the next Chinese brand after Oppo, Vivo and Huawei launching the new slider mechanism for the full-display smartphone. Earlier Xiaomi President showed us the first view of the upcoming premium smartphone Mi Mix 3. Today we have a second image shared by Lin Bin which shows the 5G support.
As per the image, we can see the Mi Mix 3 sports completely bezel-less display and on the status bar, we have the 5G symbol. So probably the device has just passed the 5G NR test in China.
Apart from that we also got the new video which shows the pop-up mechanism for the camera on the new Mi Mix 3. As per the video, the new Mi Mix 3 will feature a slider mechanism which makes the device to push up to open the camera and when we push down it comes down.
So probably, unlike Oppo automatic mechanism Xiaomi will opt for the manual slider mechanism which we feel to be more reliable. Do note that, the new slider will house all the sensor along with bot selfie and rear cameras.
