Xiaomi has finally launched the much-awaited smart band for fitness freaks with Mi Band 3 in India. The new Mi Band 3 was initially launched in China along with Mi 8 series which became a top-selling smart band in the country. The new Mi Band 3 is the direct successor to last year launched Mi Band 2. Xiaomi Mi Band 3 comes with a Black wristband and option to change the bands. The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is priced at Rs.1999/- and has gone on sale through Amazon and Mi.com.
The new Mi Band 3 sport larger 0.78 inches OLED touchscreen display when compared with 0.42 inches on Mi band 2. The Mi Band 3 display comes with scratch resistant glass and anti-fingerprint coating on top. The new Xiaomi Mi Band 3 weighs around 8.5 grams and 20 grams with the band.
The new Mi Band 3 comes with better activity tracking and can display the real-time data for certain activities like swimming, cycling etc. It still features the touch button which we even saw on the predecessor and long pressing the button one can directly reject the call. Due to a larger display, the new Mi Band 3 can display more characters than the Mi Band 2.
The new Mi Band 3 also comes with 5 ATM certification which makes the smart band ideal for swimmers up to 50 meters. It also features a Heart rate sensor & Photoplethysmography. The Mi Band 3 can also track your sleep along with step count. The new Mi Band 3 comes with Bluetooth 4.2 support and has 110 mAh battery which can last for 20 days on single charge.
