Samsung is all set to launch two new smartphones ahead of Samsung Galaxy S10 launch. Earlier we had few rumors about Samsung Galaxy S10 to feature Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic fingerprint tech.
Now we have new leaks which claim that Samsung will introduce the feature on two new devices with Samsung Galaxy P30 and Galaxy P30+ before reaching out to Samsung Galaxy S10. As per the source, Samsung is all set to launch the new Samsung Galaxy P30+ with new in-display fingerprint scanner later next month. Samsung will also launch the Samsung Galaxy P30 which will come with a traditional fingerprint scanner.
The new Samsung Galaxy P30 and Galaxy P30+were earlier codenamed as Phoenix as per one of the Chinese industry insider. Now one of the tipsters confirms the model number along with name as Samsung SM-G6200. It will use standard optical in-display fingerprint scanner over the ultrasonic which is going to arrive with S10 later next year.
Further, the same source also revealed that the new Samsung Galaxy P30 and Galaxy P30+ will sport LCD display which is interesting as in-display fingerprint works only with AMOLED display right now.
