Samsung is all set to unveil the new flagship in China specifically due to weak sales and tough competition. Earlier we had a few rumors about Samsung planning to introduce the four rear camera setup device later this year. Samsung further confirmed with a new teaser which mentions 4X the fun which might indirectly be teasing the quad camera smartphone.
Now some of the known Chinese industry insiders have leaked the concept renders of the upcoming Quad camera smartphone. According to the industry insider, the device will be called as Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro which is the higher model of the recently launched mid-range Samsung Galaxy A9 Star.
As per the image, we can see the alleged Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro featuring four rear cameras which are aligned vertically along with Dual Tone Dual LED flash below it. It looks similar to original Samsung Galaxy A9 Star in terms of design and will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
We have another concept render by popular tipster which shows the completely different design with Huawei Mate 2 Pro like camera setup having two cameras above and remaining two cameras below it with Dual Tone Dual LED flash on the center. It might have an in-display fingerprint scanner or side-mounted one. Both the leaks show that the new Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro will come in multiple colors.
Anyway, apart from that the popular tipster MMDDJ has now shared another detail about the new Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro. According to the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro is expected to be powered by the SD710 SoC. Yes, you heard it right the first A-series to be powered by the latest SD710 chipset. Sadly, apart from this nothing much about the device is leaked.
But Samsung is also planning to bring another A-series smartphone with SD845 SoC so we are still not sure about the model name yet but hope it might launch by end of this year.
