Samsung is all set to push the new Android 9 Pie update on the Samsung Galaxy S9+ later this year. Now XDA Developers had managed to get the new Android 9 Pie firmware file for the Galaxy S9+ which has now revealed some of the features of the upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S10.
As per the source, the firmware teardown revealed the presence of not three but four Samsung Galaxy S10 models. This is not the first time earlier the same source had revealed the list of 2018 devices from Samsung. Anyway, as per the firmware file, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will have four models with codenamed as beyond 0, beyond 1, beyond 2, beyond 2 5G.
As per the source, the Samsung Galaxy S10 with codenamed beyond 0 is the base and cheapest variant under the series. The beyond 1 is the intermediate whereas the beyond 2 is the higher variant. The topmost variant will come with 5G support. Do note that the letter q with the codename stands for the Qualcomm chipset if the codename is without the letter its Exynos chipset.
Apart from this, nothing much about the device is leaked. So we can expect the all four models of the Samsung Galaxy S10 to come with SD855/Exynos 9820 SoC next year. So Samsung might become the first OEM to launch the world’s first 5G smartphone next year.
