Realme the sub-brand of Oppo unveiled two new smartphones under budget and mid-range segment with Realme C1 and Realme 2 Pro in India. The new Realme C1 comes in Black and Blue colors and is priced at Rs.6999/-. The new Realme 2 Pro comes in Ice Lake, Black Sea, and Blue Ocean colors and is priced at Rs.13,990/- for base 4GB+64GB, Rs.15,990/- for 6GB+64GB and Rs.17,990/- for 8GB+128GB.
The Realme 2 Pro & Realme C1 will go on sale from Oct 11 exclusively through Flipkart. The launch offers to include No Cost EMI, 5% off on EMI transaction done through HDFC or RBL Band Credit cards, Reliance Jio offering Rs.4200/- worth benefits, along with exchange with any smartphone.
Realme C1:
Realme launched the first budget smartphone with Realme C1 which can be the downgraded variant of Realme 2. The new Realme C1 features unibody design and rear of the body features 12 layers of nanoscale composite material. The new Realme C1 weighs 168 grams and is 8.2 mm thick.
The new Realme C1 sports 6.2 inches HD+ FullView display with a resolution of 1520*720p having an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is covered by 2.5D curved glass on top. The new Realme C1 is powered by SD450 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It comes with a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
The new Realme C1 features Dual rear cameras with a 13MP primary sensor having an aperture of f/2.2 and 2MP secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash. It features a 5MP selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 which also doubles up as Face Unlock. It can record videos up to 1080p @30fps.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and Dual VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Realme C1 is fueled by larger 4230 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 with Color OS 5.1 on top.
Realme 2 Pro:
Realme also launched the upgraded variant of the recently launched Realme 2 with Realme 2 Pro. The new Realme 2 Pro is Oppo’s answer to the recently announced Xiaomi Mi A2 which to comes with almost similar specs but slightly higher price.
The new Realme 2 Pro is made out of glass back with 15-layer laminated technology for better grip and comes with glossy visual effect. It weighs around 174 grams and is 8.5 mm thick.
The new Realme 2 Pro sports 6.3 inches FHD+ LCD Dewdrop display with a resolution of 2340*1080p having an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is covered by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The new Realme 2 Pro is powered by SD660 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It comes with a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
The new Realme 2 Pro features Dual rear cameras with a 16MP Sony IMX398 primary sensor having an aperture of f/1.7, Dual Pixel Focus, EIS and 2MP secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash. It features a 16MP selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 which also doubles up as Face Unlock. It can record videos up to 4K @30fps.
