Earlier we had got the first renders showing the new OnePlus 6T with triple camera setup and new waterdrop notch. Today we have official confirmation about the upcoming OnePlus 6T features.
As per mail to CNET, the OnePlus stated that We unlock our phones multiple times a day, and Screen Unlock reduces the number of steps to complete the action.” With this, we can confirm that the new OnePlus 6T will become the next flagship to ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner what OnePlus likes to call as Screen Unlock. OnePls 6T will also have the Face Unlock feature too.
Due to the new in-display fingerprint sensor, the OnePlus 6T will be 0.45mm thicker than OnePlus 6. Apart from that, the email also shared that OnePlus 6T is scheduled to launch on Oct 17.
