After accidentally listing the new Moto P30 Play on Motorola website we now have the device officially launched in China. The new Moto P30 Play is priced at 1899 Yuan (Rs.19,940/-) and will go on sale from Sept 15 in China via the official website. The new Moto P30 will be available in Bright Black and Ice Jade colors.
The new Moto P30 Play looks exactly like the Moto P30 and Moto P30 Note and is made out of metal and glass back. The new Moto P30 Play comes with 2.5D curved Glass on the back with a polished ceramic light-sensing process. It features Corning Gorilla Glass on both front as well as the back of the device. It weighs around 162 grams and is 7.97 mm thick.
The new Moto P30 Play arrives with 5.86 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720*1520 and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla glass. The Moto P30 Play is powered by older SD625 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
The new Moto P30 Play features 13MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and 2MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, PDAF with Dual LED flash on the back. On the front, we have 8MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. Both the front as well as rear camera arrives with AI features like smart beauty, night scene, portrait mode etc. There is a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera. It also features Face Unlock via selfie camera.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, A_GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack. It also comes with P2i coating which makes the device splash resistant. The Moto P30 Play is fueled by 3000 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 with ZUI 4.0 on top.
