Earlier Xiaomi teased the Mi 8 Youth Edition which was touted to be the first Xiaomi smartphone to arrive with Gradient back. Earlier Xiaomi also confirmed that the Mi 8 Youth will launch on Sept 19 and now we already have the second device Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition teased ahead of official launch.
As per the post on Weibo, Xiaomi has compared the new Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition with the recently launched iPhone Xs Gold variant. So with this teaser, we can confirm that the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition will arrive with iPhone Xs like colored metal chassis and might sport a larger display.
Anyway, the teaser also mentions that the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition will launch on Sept 19 in China. So Xiaomi is adding two new devices under the flagship Mi 8 series. Anyway, there are rumors about the Mi 8X is rebranded as Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition and will arrive with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage options. It will be available in two colors with Gold and Black.
