Amazon has silently launched the all-new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet with Alexa support. The new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet will go on sale from Oct 4 currently, the device is up on pre-orders via Amazon. The Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet with 16GB storage is priced at $79.99 (Rs.5,760/-) with ShowMode Charging case at £109.98 (Rs.10,300/-), 32GB at £109.99 (Rs.7915/-) and one with ShowMode charging Dock at £129.98 (Rs.12,000/-). The Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet will arrive at Balck, Marine Blue, Canary Yellow, and Punch Red colors.
The new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet is made out of polycarbonate shell with typical Amazon styled design. The new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet measures 215 mm x 128 mm x 9.7 mm and weighs 363 grams.
The new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet sports 8 inches HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800p and using standard 16:9 aspect ratio display. It arrives with the advanced polarising filter. The new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet is powered by unknown Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB/32GB storage options which can be expanded via microSD card up to 400GB.
The new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet features 2MP rear camera and 2MP selfie camera with HD recording. The speakers of Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet come with Dolby Atmos Audio support. The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi, 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB port, and Bluetooth 4.2 support. As per Amazon, the Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet will last for 10 hours on a single charge.
The main highlight of the Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet is the Alexa support. The new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet is now able to play music, turn on/off light via voice commands. It also comes with new ShowMode wireless charging dock for the new Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet.
