Now Xiaomi is planning to add two new devices under the Mi 8 series with Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition & Xiaomi Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition. Now we have spotted a new unknown device with model number Xiaomi M1808D2TE in TENAA listing.
As per the TENAA, the new M1808D2TE might be the alleged Mi 8 Youth Edition. The new Mi 8 Youth Edition will sport 6.2 inches FHD+ LCD display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The new Mi 8 Youth Edition is made out of metal and glass and we already have the glimpse of the White variant. It measures 156.4 x 75.8 x 7.5 mm and weighs 169 grams.
The TENAA listing confirms the Mi 8 Youth Edition will arrive in multiple colors with Black, Rose gold, White, Blue, Red, Pink, Gray, Silver, Green, Blue-Violet Gradient, and Purple Gold Gradient. The Mi 8 Youth Edition is powered by 2.2 GHz clocked SD710 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage option which can be expanded via microSD card slot.
Mi 8 Youth Edition features horizontally aligned Dual rear camera with the 12MP primary sensor and no info about the secondary sensor. It will arrive with the 24MP selfie camera. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 8.1 and is fueled by 3250 mAh battery.
