Huawei is on roll we already have two new flagships with Huawei Mate 20 & Mate 20 Pro set to launch later next month and we now have another device in the pipeline with Huawei Y9 (2018). The new Huawei Y9 (2018) has now listed on TENAA listing which has revealed the specs of the device.
As per the listing, the new Huawei Y9 (2018) looks exactly similar to recently announced Honor 8X in terms of design but arrive with Dual selfie camera. As per TENAA, the alleged Huawei Y9 (2018) is listed as JKM-AL00a. It sports larger 6.5 inches FHD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080p which is the same screen as found on Honor 8X.
The new Huawei Y9 (2018) will arrive with the latest Kirin 710 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage option which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 400GB. It features 20MP+2MP dual rear camera with Dual LED flash. The device further comes with Dual selfie camera but TENAA listing mentions just single camera with 16MP but we can expect the secondary sensor to be of 2MP.
The new Huawei Y9 (2018) is fueled by 3900 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 with EMUI 9.0 on top. It does feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The new Huawei Y9 (2018) will ship in Black, Pink, Blue, and Purple colors.
