Samsung finally unveils its flagship tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 along with budget one with Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is already up on pre-orders in the US and Europe and will go on sale from 10 Aug. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is priced at $650 (Rs.44,500/-) for 64GB and $750 (Rs.51,300/-) for 256GB storage variant in the US and 700 Euro for 64GB and 760 Euros for 256GB variant in Europe.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 accessories like the Book Cover keyboard is priced at 150 Euros (Rs.12,000/-) whereas regular back cover at 70 Euros (Rs.5,500/-) and charging dock for 60 Euros (Rs.4,800/-). The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 will come in both 4G as well as Wifi only variant. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is priced at 330 Euros (Rs.26,400/-) for 4G LTE and Wifi only at 390 Euros (Rs.31,100/-). The device will go on sale from Aug 24.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4:
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 looks similar to Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 but will no longer have the physical home buttons which are now replaced by software navigation keys. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is Samsung’s 2 in 1 Android tablet comes with DeX support.
Samsung has now added the DeX feature on the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 which can be operated when connected to Book Cover keyboard or via the Quick panel which will move from Android UI to full-fledged Desktop experience. With the help of DeX, one can even re-size apps or open multiple windows similar to PC. Not just that one can even use a keyboard shortcut similar to the regular desktop.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 can also be connected to the external display through HDMI port and the device display can also be used simultaneously when connected which was missing on regular DeX. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will come with S-Pen which comes with similar features as taking screenshots or notes or sending live messages what we found on Galaxy Note 8. It weighs 483 grams and is 7.1 mm thick.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 sports 10.5 inches Super AMOLED WQXGA display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 having a resolution of 2560×1600p. It is powered by SD835 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/256GB storage options which can be expanded via microSD cards up to 400GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 features a 13MP rear camera with AF, LED flash and 8MP selfie shooter. It can shoot videos up to 4K. The connectivity option includes 4G LTE (4G model), Dual-band Wifi only, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, POGO port and IRIS scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 features four stereo speakers tuned by AKG along with Dolby Atmos support. The device is running on Android 8.1 with Samsung Experience UI on top and is fueled with 7300 mAh battery with fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a budget-friendly tablet from Samsung and looks similar to Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is basically for more media consumption. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 weighs 529 for Wifi only and 534 for the LTE model.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 sports 10.5 inches TFT LCD WUXGA display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 having a resolution of 1920*1200p. It is powered by SD450 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage options which can be expanded via microSD cards up to 400GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features an 8MP rear camera with AF, LED flash and 5MP selfie shooter. It can shoot videos up to FHD. The connectivity option includes 4G LTE Cat6 (4G model), Dual-band Wifi only, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.
