Oppo sub-brand Realme launched its first smartphone with Realme 1 which had already sold 4 Million units in India. Now Realme is planning to bring the successor with Realme 2 later this month. As per the teaser, Oppo Realme will launch the new Realme 2 on Aug 28 and will be exclusive to Flipkart.
Apart from that, we also got the detailed specs of the upcoming Realme 2 leaked. As per the source, the Realme 2 will have the same specs as the recently launched Oppo A5. So looks like Oppo is going with Samsung way and launching the online-exclusive variant of Oppo A5 as Realme 2.
Anyway, as per the source, the Realme 2 will sport 6.2 inches HD+ display with a resolution of 720*1520p having an aspect ratio of 19:9. It will feature Glass back with metal frame and will come with the similar Diamond finish as we saw on Realme 1. It weighs 168g and is 8.2 mm thick. It will come in Diamond Blue, Diamond Red, and Diamond Black colors.
The Realme 2 will now feature Snapdragon chipset with SD450 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. Storage can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB. The Realme 2 will feature 13MP+2MP Dual rear cameras with 8MP selfie shooter.
The Realme 2 comes with larger 4230mAh battery along with Face Unlock and fingerprint scanner. The Realme 2 runs on Android 8.1 with Color OS 5.1 on top. It will also support Dual SIM with Dual 4G VoLTE.
