Oppo has gained immense popularity with its best-seller sub-brand Realme 1 which has already sold 4 million devices in India since launch. Now Realme is planning to introduce the successor to the Realme 1 with Realme 2 soon.
As per the interview with 91Mobiles Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth told that they are planning to launch a 3-4 smartphone in India by FY 2018-2019. Further, they will also add a few additional software features to the existing devices. Realme will focus on mid-range along with sub 20k and entry-level segment.
Realme CEO further told that they are planning to bring the Realme 2 within a month in India. We can expect Realme 2 will be priced similarly and will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Realme 2 will come with Snapdragon processor and will ditch MediaTek SoC.
