Earlier Oppo had officially announced the Oppo R17 but had just mentioned Oppo R17 Pro without any details. Earlier we even got renders showing the Oppo R17 Pro to feature triple camera setup. Today, we have a new rumor coming in from China which claims that Oppo R17 Pro will have Dual aperture sensor.
As per the source, the new Oppo R17 Pro will indeed come with Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note 9 like variable aperture cameras on the back. Oppo R17 Pro will now able to jump from f/1.5 to f/2.4 based on well light and low light areas.
Earlier the model PBEM00 aka Oppo R17 Pro was listed on TENAA which reveals about the Dual camera setup with the 16MP+5MP sensor. Anyway, as per the source, the new Oppo R17 Pro will use Sony IMX519 Sensor with the Dual aperture the same sensor which is already found on Oppo R15.
