Nokia has finally launched the Global variant of Nokia X6 and Nokia X5 with Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus in India. The Nokia 6.1 Plus is priced at Rs.15,999/- and will go on sale from 30 Aug at 12 noon via Flipkart and Nokia.com/phones and the device is currently up on pre-orders whereas the Nokia 5.1 Plus is scheduled for September launch and has no revealed the pricing of the device.
Nokia 6.1 Plus will be available in Gloss Midnight Blue, Gloss White and Gloss Black colors whereas the Nokia 5.1 Plus in Black, White and Blue colors in India.
Nokia 6.1 Plus:
Nokia 6.1 Plus is the first bezel-less smartphone from Nokia under mid-range segment. It is made out of metal chassis and glass back which makes the device look stunning in Black version. The Nokia 6.1 Plus weighs around 151 grams and is 7.99-8.59 mm thick.
Nokia 6.1 Plus sports 5.8 inches 19:9 aspect ratio FHD+ display with a resolution of 2280*1080p and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It is powered by the same chip as the Redmi Note 5 Pro with SD636 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage options which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
It features Dual rear camera aligned vertically with the 16MP RGB sensor with 1.0um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and 5MP monochrome sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 having a pixel size of 1.2um with EIS. It features 16MP selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and 1.0um pixel size. The selfie camera also comes with Face Unlock feature. The Nokia 6.1 Plus camera also comes with AI features like AI Portrait mode and scene recognition.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE support (Both SIM can run on 4G Networks), Dual-Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, fingerprint scanner, FM Radio, USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack. All this is fueled by 3060 mAh battery with QC 3.0 support and runs on Android 8.1 which will be upgraded to Android P.
Nokia 5.1 Plus:
The new Nokia 5.1 Plus looks similar to Nokia 6.1 Plus in terms of design but with smaller screen size. It also features a bezel-less display with a notch. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is made out of metal chassis and glass back. The new Nokia X5 weighs around 160 grams and is 8.096 mm thick.
The new Nokia 5.1 Plus sports 5.86 inches HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and is covered by 2.5D curved glass on top. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC which is built on 12nm process coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 400GB.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus features Dual rear cameras with a 13MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and secondary 5MP camera with PDAF and LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2 having an 80.4-degree wide angle lens. It also features AI Portrait and AI selfie modes.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support (Hybrid), Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner, and FM Radio. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is fueled by 3060 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 out of the box.
