Nokia always updates all the devices with the latest security patches monthly and also provide bug fixes. Earlier Nokia had promised will provide the latest Android 9 Pie to all the device launched.
Now we have confirmation for the same as one of the Nokia user asked about the new Android 9 Pie update on Twitter. Nokia didn’t take much time and responds to the user stating that all devices including non-Android One devices will get the Android 9 Pie update later this year.
So as per the tweet, Nokia will update in phased secured roll-out to Nokia 2, Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8. Nokia 7 Plus will get updates for two-years as it is an Android One device. Don’t worry even Nokia 1, Nokia 2, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7, Nokia 8 Sirocco are also eligible to get the new Android 9 Pie update.
