Huawei is all set to unveil the new mid-range smartphone the Honor 8X later this year. Honor 8X is the direct successor to this year launched Honor 7X. Now we have spotted the new Honor 8X on TENAA and 3C listing which reveals some of the details of the device.
As per the TENAA, we can see the new Honor 8X or Honor 8S which is listed as ARE-AL00. Apart from the model number we also got the images of the alleged Honor 8X leaked. Fro the images we can see Essential PH1 like round notch above the display which has now become the trend for Chinese brands. After Oppo F9 Pro we can see Huawei implementing the similar notch on their upcoming Honor 8X.
Apart from that, it still has the Honor branding at the bottom chin portion. On the rear, there is a Dual rear camera aligned vertically with LED flash below it. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and Honor branding on the left end corner of the device.
Now the new Honor 8X is having a glass back with slightly curved edges which we saw on premium Samsung flagships.
Sadly, there is no details about the specs of the Honor 8X but 3C listing confirms that it comes with 18W charger. So Honor 8X will have support for fast charging finally. There are rumors about the new Honor 8X might use the SD636 or SD660 SoC but as its a Huawei subbrand we can expect it to be powered by the latest Kirin 710 SoC.
