Samsung well-known smartphone brand has now announced the latest 10nm 8GB LPDDR5 RAM specifically for future smartphones. Samsung has already started mass-production for 8GB RAM LPDDR4 since 2014 has now finally launched the successor.
Samsung has now added the 8GB RAM LPDDR5 chips under its premium DRAM lineup. Samsung’s 8GB RAM LPDDR5 increases transfer rates to 6400Mbps with 50% improvement when compared with the predecessor. It also comes with low power operation mode of just 1.05 A at 5500 Mbps.
The new 10nm 8GB LPDDR5 RAM also consumes 30% lesser power than the predecessor. The new chips are manufactured in Pyeongtaek, Korea facility. The new 10nm 8GB LPDDR5 RAM is specifically made for future AI and 5G applications.
