Lava has launched its second Android Go OS smartphone with Lava Z61 in India. The Lava Z61 will be available in Gold and Black colors. The Lava Z61 priced at Rs.5750/- in India and will be available more than 80,000 retail outlets across India. The launch offer includes Rs.2200/- cashback from Jio in the form of a voucher worth Rs.50 each on recharge of Rs.198/- or Rs.299/- and Free one-time screen replacement if bought by 30 Sept 2018.
Lava will also launch the 2GB variant of the Lava Z61 next month but no details about the pricing.
The Lava Z61 looks premium with the metal-like finish on the back and is ultra light in weight with just 139 grams and is 8.7 mm thick. It sports 5.45 inches HD+ (1440*720p) display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla glass for protection.
The Lava Z61 comes with unknown 1.5GHz clocked Quad-core processor coupled with 1GB/2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
The Lava Z61 features 8MP rear camera with AF and LED flash and 5MP selfie camera with LED flash. The new Z61 offers ‘Sharp Click’ technology, allowing users to capture even the smallest details; providing unprecedented photography experience.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio jack. Sadly, there is no fingerprint scanner on the Lava Z61. It is powered by 3000 mAh battery.Lava Z61 runs on Android Oreo Go OS aka Android 8.1.
