Earlier this year JioPhone running on KaiOS finally got the dedicated Facebook app support along with Google Assistant. Today the device is finally getting support for a popular navigation app Google Maps.
Earlier at 2018 Jio AGM Meet, Jio announced that JioPhone and JioPhone 2 will get dedicated apps for YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Today the JioPhone has got a new OTA update which adds the Google Maps app support which was missing as the device also comes with GPS support.
Once the OTA update gets installed one has to open the JioStore and download the Google Maps. The new Google Maps brings get directions, explore the map, and get your bearings. It also gets traffic updates and suggests the best route with lesser traffic.
