Xiaomi is on roll after launching Mi 8 & Mi 8SE we now have the mid-range Android One smartphone Mi A2 & the best-selling budget smartphone the Redmi 6 series in the pipeline. Earlier we have spotted the Redmi 6 series smartphone on TENAA listing along with renders of the device.
Today it is official as Xiaomi already started teasing the upcoming Redmi 6 series. As per the post on Official Redmi Weibo page, we can see the huge number 6 along with caption Redmi 6 which almost confirm that successor to Redmi 5 is on the way with Redmi 6.
As per the post, the new Redmi 6 series will be launching on June 12 in China. So sounds like new Redmi 6 series is all set to take the budget smartphone market by storm soon. As per the leak, the Redmi 6 series include Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Pro or Plus which will come with iPhone X like a notch.
Apart from that, we also spotted the new Xiaomi Mi A2 on Geekbench listing. Earlier we had spotted the device on EEC listing in Russia which almost confirm that the device will be launching soon and we also had a rumor about Mi A2 will have similar specs as Mi 6X.
As per the Geekbench, the new Xiaomi Mi A2 will be powered by SD660 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and is running on Android 8.1.0 out of the box which is same specs as the Mi 6X but this one will run on a stock version of Android.
The Mi A2 scored impressive 1630 under single test and 4567 under multi-core test.
