Samsung is all set to unveil its very first foldable smartphone next year as per various leaks and rumors in the past. Today we have a new leak which again confirms that Samsung might launch the device as early as next year at MWC 2019.
As per the reports from South China Morning Post, the upcoming Samsung Foldable smartphone might sport 7.3 inches display and will be priced at whopping $1850 (Rs.1,25,150/-) for the unlocked variant. The new reports also confirm that the suppliers have already begun supplying the components for the device by November during which the device will enter mass-production.
As per the source, the new Samsung foldable smartphone which was rumored to be called the Samsung Galaxy X will sport 7.3 inches display when enlarged and once folded back it will become 4.5 inches display smartphone. According to Shinhan Financial analyst Park Hyung-woo expects that the Samsung foldable smartphone features two display one inside and other on the outer screen similar to the flip phone.
He further claimed that the prototype of the foldable smartphone will be showcased at CES 2019 under closed event. With whopping $1850 we expect the Samsung upcoming foldable smartphone will be available in limited quantities and will not be for everyone due to the premium pricing.
