Nokia 8 Sirocco

Nokia is now planning to launch a new flagship soon which might be the successor to the MWC 2018 launched Nokia 8 Sirocco. Earlier we had few details leaked about the rumored flagship Nokia 9 which never launched till date and now again we have few rumors coming up online.

As per the popular tipster Roland Quandt, Nokia is currently working on next flagship which will come with current high-end SoC which indirectly provides us the hint that will be powered by the latest SD845 SoC.

Apart from that, Roland also told that the upcoming Nokia flagship will also come with one of the newest trends which Chinese brands have started which again provide us some hint on the bezel-less display with pop-up selfie camera or in-display fingerprint scanner which we saw with Vivo NEX S and Oppo Find X.

Apart from that, we also got a new leak which claims that Nokia is working on in-display fingerprint scanner for the upcoming flagship Nokia 9. As per the source, Nokia 9 is codenamed internally as Nokia A1P or A1 Plus whereas the recently launched Nokia 8 Sirocco was internally called the A1N.

As per the source, the rumored Nokia 9 or A1P will have the same design as Nokia 8 Sirocco but will now sport LG made the P-OLED display with Vivo X21 like in-display fingerprint tech along with more advanced cameras.

As per the source, Nokia had to work hard for the new in-display fingerprint to work which was solved by using thinner OLED displays. HMD Global started working on the rumored Nokia 9 from Feb and is expected to go, official, by Aug or Sept at IFA Berlin.
