Honor has now launched two new devices with the Honor 9i (2018) & Honor Play a notched display in China. The new Honor 9i (2018) will come in Black, Blue, Green and Purple colors whereas the Honor Play will come in Black, Blue, Violet and Red colors. The Honor 9i (2018) is priced at 1399 Yuan (Rs.14,700/-) for 64GB variant and 1699 Yuan (Rs.17,800/-) for 128GB storage version and will go on sale from today. The Honor Play is priced at 1999 Yuan (Rs.21,000/-) for 4GB RAM & 2399 Yuan (Rs.25,200/-) for 6GB RAM variant and is up on pre-orders will go on sale from June 11 in China.
Honor 9i (2018) :
Honor the sub-brand of Huawei has announced the new Honor 9i (2018) which is the successor to last year launched Honor 9i. The new Honor 9i (2018) comes with new iPhone X like the design and features a notch. The new Honor 9i (2018) features metal frame and glass back. It weighs around 152 grams and is 7.7 mm thick.
The new Honor 9i (2018) sports 5.84 inches FHD+ display with an aspect ratio 19:9 and resolution of 2280*1080p. It is covered by 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by the same chipset as the predecessor with Huawei Kirin 659 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 256GB.
The Honor 9i (2018) features Dual rear cameras with the 13MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor with Dual LED flash whereas it comes with 16MP selfie shooter with Face Unlock. The cameras also feature AI support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio port, and fingerprint scanner. All this is fueled by 3000 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 with EMUI 8.0 on top.

Honor has now launched a mid-range gaming smartphone called the Honor Play in China. The new Honor Play will come with 4D gaming experience with real-time vibration during gameplay similar to Sony PlayStation gaming controller up to 30 different senses to provide best gaming experience. It also comes with 7.1 channel Histen 3D Audio support.
The Honor Play comes with a similar design as the Honor 9i (2018) and is made out of metal frame and glass back. It weighs 176 grams and is 7.84 mm thick. The new Honor Play sports 6.3 inches FHD+ LCD display with an aspect ratio 19:9 and resolution of 2280*1080p. It is covered by 2.5D curved glass on top.
It is powered by the same chipset as the predecessor with Huawei Kirin 970 SoC with i7 co-processor, NPU engine and GPU Turbo Boost coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 256GB.
The Honor Play features Dual rear cameras with the 16MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and 2MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, Dual LED flash, CAF, and PDAF. It comes with 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and Face Unlock. The cameras also feature AI support. and also come with portrait mode and AI scene recognition modes.
