After first live image showing the prototype of the upcoming Pixel 3 XL we now have got some more details with the notch dimension. One of the popular tipster @Onleaks has shared the image showing the notch dimension for the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL.
As per the image, the Google Pixel 3 XL will finally come with a notch which is smaller than the Pixel 2 XLand the cutout is deeper than many other Android smartphones having a notch. As per the leak, the Pixel 3 XL will have a larger display with 6.2 inches and will come with thicker chin at the bottom of the device with 8.8 mm and 8.1*23.8mm notch size above the display.
Apart from that, there are also rumors of Google Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL to come with HTC Edge Sense or Active Edge feature which we saw in the last year Pixel devices. The Active Edge feature is nothing but squeezing the phone from the sides and basically senses the pressure applied and launches apps, or any other action that is assigned.
As per the rumors, the codenamed device Crosshatch and Blueline will come with Active Edge feature. As per leaks, the Crosshatch is codenamed for Pixel 3 XL and Blueline for Pixel 3.
The last leak claim that both the Pixel 3 & Pixel 3XL will support wireless charging as per the Android P-code. Google has finally rolled out the Android P DP3 and with the latest update, we have got some new features which also include the Wireless charging support for native Android devices which provide us the hint that upcoming Pixel 3 series might have the wireless charging feature.
As per XDA, have discovered a new firmware reference called dreamliner on the latest Android P DP3 which is not related to any App and is labeled by Google itself and might be the codename for the Made by Google product. Google has now added the new feature to settings app with Connected devices where one can manage all the wireless chargers on Android P. So probably we can expect the upcoming Google Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL might have support for wireless charging.
