As per Forbes contributor, Gordon Kelly in partnership with case-maker Ghostek has shared few schematics showing the upcoming iPhone X Plus and budget iPhone X with 6.1 inches. As per the source, the upcoming iPhone X Plus will sport 6.5 inches OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9.
The body dimension will be 152.7*77.1 mm which is lost more compact than the current iPhone 8 Plus which is having 5.5 inches display. The iPhone X Plus will come with metal chassis which will weigh more than the iPhone 8 Plus with 202 grams. This time the iPhone X Plus will come with shorter notch than the iPhone X with FaceID 2.0.
As per the CAD renders, we can see that the iPhone X Plus might come with triple cameras as per there are three cutouts shown in the schematics and there is no cut-out for LED flash probably the middle one might be the LED flash but nothing is confirmed at the moment.
The iPhone X 6.1 inches is termed as budget iPhone and will come with trimmed down specs such as a single rear camera. It will sport 6.1 inches LCD display and measures 147.12 x 71.52mm which is slightly taller than the current iPhone X due to larger display size and will come with larger notch area with FaceID 1.0.
The budget iPhone X will not have the 3D Touch feature. The third iPhone X successor will look similar to the predecessor and will come with new FaceID 2.0 with a smaller notch. It might even feature the same triple camera setup as the iPhone X Plus.
The budget iPhone X will be priced similar to current iPhone 8 price tag and Apple is planning to reduce the price by $300 when compared with 2017 lineup which makes the iPhone X Plus might cost similar to iPhone X.
