Xiaomi is all set to unveil not one but a bunch of devices on 31 May at Shenzen in China. Earlier we had some rumors claiming that Xiaomi Mi 8 is not the only smartphone to be announced at the event there will be another smartphone called Xiaomi Mi 8 SE (Special Edition) to launch at the event.
Earlier we had even got rumors of Xiaomi Mi 8 SE will have similar specs as the Mi 8 and will come with compact form-factor. But today, we have finally received the new leak showing the screen protector which will be attached to the device by default mentioning some of the key specs of the device.
As per the leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE will be the first smartphone to be powered by the latest SD710 SoC built on the 10nm node with AIE (AI Engine) which was officially launched last month by Qualcomm.
It features 20MP Dual rear AI cameras with 1.4μm pixel size and 20MP selfie camera with Selfie light. Apart from this nothing much about the device is leaked. But from the shared image we can see the cutout above the display on the screen guard confirms that it will have a notch on the display.
Apart from that we also got the alleged Mi 8 screen protector renders showing the device design. As per the leaks, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 8 will look similar to Mi Mix 2S and comes with iPhone X like a notch above the display.
It features wider notch above the display which might carry the 3D facial recognition scanner along with selfie shooter, earpiece, and sensor. It is having thicker bottom bezels with rounded corners. The power button along with volume rockers are located on the right of the device.
On the back, we have the Mi Mix 2S styled Dual rear cameras with LED flash in between and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the bottom of the device, we just have the USB Type-C port along with speaker mesh on either side.
Apart from that we also got a new teaser in which we can see 8 different countries with number 8 on top which was share by Xiaomi.
Yes you hear it right it will no longer be exclusive to China this time as Xiaomi has opened lot of Mi Home across India and many other countries we can expect Xiaomi to sell the Mi 8 through these stores.
As per the image, we can see countries like India, France, Egypt, Italy, Russia, Spain, Thailand, and Vietnam where the Mi 8 will soon hit after the China launch.
