With Amazon and Google fighting with their own edition of the smart speaker with Amazon Echo and Google Home we have a third popular tech brand Apple to entered the competition and launched Apple HomePod at a premium price which didn’t live up to expectation.
Now we have new rumors popping up of Apple planning to introduce the cheaper variant of the Apple HomePod smart speaker under Beats Brand. As per the source, Taiwan Supply chain source claiming that budget smart speaker might cost $199 which is lower than the original HomePod priced at $349 in the US.
As per the source, the new speaker will be launched under Beats brand and will be powered by MediaTek chipset.
