Xiaomi has finally unveiled its very first gaming smartphone with Xiaomi Black Shark in partnership with Black Shark in China.Xiaomi Black Shark comes in Polar Night Black and9 Sky Gray colors. The Xiaomi Black Shark is priced at 2999 Yuan (Rs.31,200/-) for base 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 3499 Yuan (Rs.36,400/-) for 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.The GamePad cost 179 Yuan (Rs.1860/-).The device is already up for pre-orders and will go on sale from April 20 in China.
The Xiaomi Black Shark looks completely different when compared with Razer Phone and is specifically made for gamers.It weighs 190 grams and is 9.5 mm thick probably due to the presence of liquid cooling technology which helps the device to reduce the CPU temperature by 8 degrees.It is having a new X-styled antenna on the back which helps the device to keep connected always even when the device is used either vertically or horizontally.It has Glowing Shark logo on the back which makes it look like a gaming smartphone.
There is additional accessory called Gamepad launched with the smartphone which directly connects the smartphone via Bluetooth as it comes with Bluetooth 4.0 support.The new Gamepad weighs around 40 grams and comes with 150 mAh battery as per company it can last for 30 hours on single charge.
The new Xiaomi Black Shark sports 5.99 inches FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 having a resolution of 2160*1080p.It comes with a One-touch button called the SHARK key which provides one immersive gaming experience.The device also comes with a dedicated Image processor called Pixelworks which helps the device to get smoother video playback during gaming.
It is powered by SD845 SoC clocked at 2.8 GHz coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage option.There is fingerprint scanner located below the display.The Xiaomi Black Shark features Dual rear cameras with the primary sensor 12MP having an aperture of f/1.75, 1.25µm pixel size and 20MP secondary sensor with an aspect ratio of f/1.75, Dual Tone Dual LED flash and 1.0µm pixel size.
The Xiaomi Black Shark features 20MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and 1.0µm pixel size.It also features Dual speakers, Dual Smart PA, and Hi-Fi Audio.The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual-Band Wifi, USB Type-C port and fingerprint scanner.All this is fueled by 4000 mAh battery with QC 3.0 support and is running on Android 8.1 out of the box.
