Meizu has finally unveiled the new Meizu 15 series with Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Lite and Meizu 15 Plus in China.The Meizu 15 will be available in Blue, White, Black, and Gold colors are priced at 2499 Yuan (Rs.26,310/-) for 64GB variant and 2799 Yuan (Rs.29,500/-) for 128GB variant.The Meizu 15 Plus will come in White, Black and Gold colors is priced at 2999 yuan (Rs.31,570/-) for 64GB and 3299 Yuan (Rs.34,750/-) for 128GB whereas the Meizu 15 Lite comes in single variant and is priced at 1699 Yuan (Rs.17,890/-) and will come in Black, Gold and Red colors.All the devices will go on sale from April 29 in China and are available for pre-order from today.
All the three devices look similar in terms of design and are built out of metal.The only change is Meizu 15 and 15 Plus comes with Dual rear camera whereas the Meizu 15 Lite comes with a single rear camera.All the devices come with an edge to edge display on the sides and thicker top and bottom bezels.The top bezels carry selfie shooter at the center and earpiece above the selfie camera.The bottom chin comes with a fingerprint scanner which doubles up as a physical home button which Meizu calls as mEngine as it comes with a pressure sensor chip.All the three smartphone comes with a unique LED ring on the back just below the camera.
Meizu 15 Lite:
The Meizu 15 Lite sports 5.46 inches FHD IPS LCD display with a normal aspect ratio of 16:9 and no 18:9 display here.It is 7.45 mm thick and weighs 145 grams.
It is powered by SD626 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and can be expanded via microSD card slot.The Meizu 15 Lite features single 12MP rear camera using Sony IMX362 sensor with an aperture of f/1.9, Dual PD Focus, 6-LED ring flash, and 1.4μm pixel size.There is 20MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and comes with Face Recognition.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual-Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, fingerprint scanner, 3.5 mm audio port and USB Type-C port.All this is fueled by 3000 mAh battery and supports mCharge fast charging.The Meizu 15 Lite runs on Android 7.1.2 with Meizu Flyme OS 7.0 on top.
