Xiaomi is now rolling out the new MIUI 9.5 update to nearly 30 old Xiaomi smartphones.The new MIUI 9.5 update is for the Global variant of the Xiaomi smartphone that was launched outside China.
Xiaomi has already started rolling out the MIUI 9.5 update to Redmi 3S, Redmi 4 Prime, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 4X, Redmi 4A, Redmi 5 Plus, Mi Max, and the Mi Max Prime.If you own any one of the above devices do check out the About the phone under settings for the new MIUI 9.5 update.
The new MIUI 9.5 update brings the Quick reply feature and also adds new notification shades area (only devices running on Android 7.0).The new Notification shades are similar to the stock version of Android and will remove the feature of two-finger swipe to see more details on the notification panel.Xiaomi has also updated some of the default apps like sound recording option on Screen recorder app and lot more.
The recently launched smartphones like Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi 5/Pro, Mi Max 2, Mi 6, Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 Lite and Redmi 5A will receive the update in the month of April.
