After series of leaks and rumours, Xiaomi finally launches its much-awaited smartphone with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro in India today.The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with 3GB+32GB is priced at Rs.9999/- and 4GB+64GB at Rs.11,999/- whereas the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with 4GB+32GB is priced at Rs.13999/- and 6GB+64GB at Rs.16999/-.Both the devices will be available in four colours with Lake Blue, Gold, Black, and Rose Gold.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will go on sale starting from Feb 22 at 12 PM on Flipkart and Mi.com, Mi Home. The launch offers to include Flat Rs.1000/- off if you recharge Rs.198 monthly from Reliance Jio and comes with additional 4G data.
Redmi Note 5:
It comes with thinner bezels on the sides and thicker bottom and top bezels and is made out of metal.Above the display, we have the selfie camera with earpiece and sensors.On the back, we have the single camera with Dual LED flash and fingerprint scanner below it.Both Power and Volume rockers lie on the right side of the device.It weighs 180 grams and is 8.05 mm thick.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will sport 5.99 inches FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160*1080p having an aspect ratio of 18:9.The display is covered with 2.5D curved glass on top with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.It is powered by SD625 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features 12MP single camera with an aperture of f/2.2 with 1.25-micron pixel size and Dual LED flash.On the front, we have 5MP selfie camera with LED flash.It can shoot videos up to 1080p.
