LG V30S ThinQ

After series of leaks, LG has finally unveiled their advanced version of LG V30 with LG V30S ThinQ at MWC 2018 today.LG V30S is the first ThinQ series smartphone launched as LG had launched the ThinQ at CES 2018 for identifying all of LG home appliances.

The major highlights of the device are the AI features embedded on the smartphone. The first feature is the Vision AI for the rear camera.The Vision AI comes with three new camera features with AI CAM, QLens and Bright Mode which automatically enhances the photo capturing the experience.The AI CAM automatically selects the different shooting modes based on the background and clicks the best image.

QLens is nothing but scanner which scans the QR code and gets the information and pricing of the product from the internet.It even matches the similar clothes or food and detailed information about the places of interest etc.Apart from that, the last feature is the AI voice commands which now can run an app by voice commands and even change the settings of the device.

The LG V30S ThinQ looks similar to the LG V30+ not only in terms of design but also has got the same specs.The LG V30S ThinQ sports 6.0-inch 18:9 QuadHD+ OLED FullVision Display with a resolution of 2880*1440p.It is powered by the outdated SD835 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space and LG V30S+ ThinQ with 256GB internal storage space which can be further expanded via microSD cards up to 2TB.

Both the devices feature a Dual camera with a 16MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.6 and 71 degrees standard angle whereas the secondary camera is of 13MP having an aperture of f/1.9 which is aligned at 120 degrees wide angle.There is 5MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and having 90 degrees wide lens.

It weighs 158 grams and comes with metal frame and glass back.The LG V30S ThinQ is just 7.3mm thick.The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, 32 bit HiFi Quad DAC and HDR10 support.

The other features include IP68 rating which makes the device dust and water resistant, Fingerprint scanner on the rear of the device, Google DayDream support, Voice and Face recognition support, wireless charging and fast charging with QC 3.0 support.All this is fueled by 3300 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.0 out of the box.The device will be available in New Moroccan Blue and New Platinum Gray colours.

As of now, there are no details regarding pricing and availability of the device.
