Google today officially announced that Google Lens the exclusive feature on Pixel devices is making there ways to all Android and iOS smartphones soon through the Google Photos app.
Last year Google expanded the Google Assistant after launching it with Pixel and Pixel XL and the same has been repeated again with Google Lens which made debut with Google Pixel 2.Google has announced that the Google Lens feature will be available to all English based Google Photos users for now and might expand to other languages.
If you hold any one of the flagships then you are lucky enough to get an extra feature which is camera based Lens feature on Google Assistant.As of now the list of compatible flagship has not been unveiled by Google.
Now Google has also added few new feature with text selection on Google Lens.The new text selection one can create contact or copy the text, create an event with just one tap. Google Lens will also recognise animals and plants in coming update.
Apart from that Google also launches the Google AR Core 1.0 today. The AR Core made debut at Google I/O 2017 and till date was under preview.Finally, Google reached the new version of Google AR Core 1.0 which means that any developer can no publish apps based on AR directly to the Google Play Store.
The Google AR Core 1.0 lets user place objects like furniture, toy boxes etc over the picture.Google AR Core will be compatible with over 100 million Android OS smartphones and a lot of devices from brands like Xiaomi, ASUS, Huawei, ZTE, Samsung, LG, Motorola and Nokia will be added soon.
Currently, the AR Core 1.0 support nearly 13 devices with Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL, Asus Zenfone AR, OnePlus 5, and LG V30, V30+.
