Apple was completely dependent upon the Samsung for its OLED panels for the recently launched iPhone X. Earlier we had few rumours claiming that Apple is partnering with LG for future iPhones but now we have two new suppliers entering the race.
As per reports, Sharp and JDI displays are now looking to supply OLED panels to Apple upcoming iPhones and might give tough competition to Samsung and LG.Sharp will start producing OLED panels from H2 of 2018 as per reports.
As many suppliers start producing the OLED panels we might expect the drop in prices which is good for Apple as they are paying bomb for iPhone X OLED panel.
