Huawei has filed a patent with WIPO for the new touch-sensitive bezel for smartwatches which was approved recently.As per patent document, the smartwatch bezels has nearly eight zones which send various commands and also adds some extra functionality so that there is no need for physical buttons.
Out of eight zones, there are two physical buttons on top and bottom of the smartwatch with a circular touchscreen.As of now the smartwatch bezels just offer to scroll but with the new touch-sensitive bezels one can even zoom in and out.It will also include force touch feature.
As per documents, the bezel will be made out of stainless steel, aluminium, plastic or ceramic whereas the strap will be made out of leather or rubber.So the upcoming Android Wear 3 is all set to launch at MWC 2018 next month.
