Google is now planning to launch the upcoming Pixel series powered by the Google made custom SoC as per the rumours.The latest Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL are already using the custom chips for the camera. The Pixel 2 camera is using the Google designed Pixel Visual Core chip which makes the device one of the best camera smartphone available int he market.
Now, Google will soon develop their custom chips which will be powering the upcoming Pixel devices similar to Apple which also uses their own custom-made chips for their iPhones.
So Qualcomm will lose its monopoly soon as Google to working on their custom chips. As of now, Google might use the Qualcomm made processor on their upcoming Pixels for few years as it might take time to develop their own chip.
