Yesterday, we spotted the Sony H4233 which is rumoured to be the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra passed through the regulator certification in Malaysia.Today we have got one more new device with Sony Xperia L2 with recently leaked Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra which has now passed through regulators certification in Thailand and Malaysia.
Both the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra and Sony Xperia L2 are the mid-range to budget devices from Sony and sadly will not come with the rumoured Mirai design instead it will retain the Omnibalance design with same old 16:9 aspect ratio display.
As per regulators listing, the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra sports 6.0 inches FHD display and Sony Xperia L2 will sport 720p HD display both are using the 16:9 aspect ratio.Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra is having two variants with Sony 4133 and Sony 4233 both the variants will be powered by SD630 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra is running on Android 8.0 out of the box with Sony UI on top.The Sony Xperia L2 is also having two variants with Sony H4311 and Sony H4331 probably one of the variants might have Dual SIM support.The Sony Xperia L2 is still running on Android 7.1.1 out of the box as it is a low-end smartphone from Sony.
We can expect Sony to unveil these devices at MWC 2018 held on Feb 28 at Barcelona.
